Girls Results
Brookings marched straight to the championship round. Roosevelt #1 lost to Brookings but worked their way back through the losers bracket to take on Brookings in the championship. In the end, Brookings took home the title and Roosevelt #1 placed second. Lincoln took third.
Boys Results
SDHSBA JV history was made during match play on the boys side. The Roosevelt #1 team bowled the first ever JV Baker 300 game en route to the championship match. The team included Hunter Bell at anchor with teammates Brandon McDaniel, Alexzander Wahl and Carson Kruggel.
The top-seeded Roosevelt #1 lost to Washington Black in the quarterfinal match sending them to the losers bracket. There they faced Roosevelt #2. A win earned them a return visit to the championship round against undefeated Washington Black. Roosevelt #1 proved they still had plenty of striking power left after their history-making Baker 300 game as they defeated Washington Black 2-1 in the first round giving Washington Black its first loss of the day. With both teams having a loss, the championship came down to the top two teams battling it out in one final match. In the end, Roosevelt #1 won it all and Washington Black took the runner-up spot. Roosevelt #2 took third.
Thanks to our players, coaches, volunteers and spectators for a successful and exciting JV Tournament.
