Parents and friends, join us Friday, Feb. 28 at Eastway Bowl for our State Varsity Tournament. Doors open at 7:30 am with announcements beginning at 8:15 and the tournament starting at 8:30.
Entry fee for spectators, including parents, friends and team bowlers not bowling in the event, is $3 dollars. Programs will be sold while supplies last, so get your commemorative program which includes our history of champions, team roster and pictures, Senior Celebration profiles and scoring sheets.
A lunch special will be offered for $6 dollars. Lunch includes your choice of brat, hotdog, or fish sandwich, and will be served with chips, cookie and lemonade. Bowlers, if you plan on taking advantage of the lunch special, please pay your coach with cash.
Our general schedule is as follows:
- 7:30 am – Doors open
- 8:15 am – Announcements and national anthem
- 8:30-11:30 am – Team and all-tournament 3-game qualifier
- 11:30 am -12:30 pm – Lunch break
- 12:30 pm – Afternoon announcements
- 1:00 pm -end of day – Baker matches (best 2-out-of-3 double-elimination format)
We are expecting large crowds, so please refrain from bringing in outside furniture as bleacher seating will be available. Also, a reminder to parents that no outside food, team treats, or noise makers, such as cow bells, are allowed. We want to be respectful to our host center and give our competitors a distraction-free environment so they can do what they do best—bowl!
